Our Specialist Lending Expo 2015
During May 2015 the UK's top lenders in the second charge, bridging, commercial and asset finance sectors made their way to Cardiff City Stadium for the Specialist Lending Expo.
The event was the first of its kind in Wales giving mortgage advisors & IFA's an opportunity to hear from and meet over 20 specialist lenders.The specialist lending industry has exploded over recent years with many borrowers not fitting the mould of mainstream, high street lending criteria.The event was attended by over 100 mortgage advisors & IFA's who learned more about the specialist lending market. Presentations were made by industry experts covering all aspects of specialist lending including Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations affecting the sector.
The event also provided a great networking forum with lender feedback confirming that those in attendance were serious about the sector. Intelligent Loans Director, Rob Coles, said: "This was first event of its kind to be held in Wales with the idea developed as a result of regular introducer feedback.
"The specialist lending market continues to grow rapidly and presents excellent earning opportunities for those involved. The event succeeded in reducing the knowledge gap among our introducers and improved the profile of second charge, bridging finance and challenger bank lenders.
